Baarish ek ehsaas hai. That is the whole idea, and it is what I called the song when I released it.
Ever felt the presence of love wrapped up with rain? Baarish is about the beauty of love in the rain, and more than that, about the power of unspoken words. The lyrics are full of imagery — a love that crosses boundaries, where even the raindrops become messengers of affection. Things that are hard to say out loud get said anyway, just not in words.
This was my original single. Prince Pratap wrote and composed it, and I sang it. It went up in February 2025, and it is the song people bring up most the moment it starts raining.
There is also a lyrical video version, which I made because so many people asked to read along while they listened. Those two videos are the same recording — the lyric version simply puts the words on screen. Both are on the site.
